Rajeev YSR

Rajeev YSR is an alumnus of IIT Madras with a Bachelor and Master in Automotive Engineering.

An Engineer by qualification and Entrepreneur at heart and a mentor by calling with rich and diverse experience in P&L, Strategy, Operations, Business Development, Sales, Product and Project management in the Automotive Industry.

He has been recognized as “40 under 40” India’s young dynamic EV (Electric Vehicle) leader.

He conducts corporate workshops, training and webinars on EVs and Growth. More than 25,000 participants have been benefitted from the same.

He has been an EV enthusiast actively evangelizing and crusading the Electric Vehicle Adoption, representing EVs on various National & International Platforms. He also works closely with NITI Aayog, Rocky Mountain Institute in their urban mobility Labs, EV Policymaking of Delhi Government and also with TS State Govt.

He right now mentors and nurtures start-ups at incubators such as T Hub, TIE Hyderabad chapter & Osmania Technology Business Incubator, IIT Madras & IIT Bombay entrepreneurship cells. He realized that availability of a relevant and trained talent pool in the EV ecosystem as the biggest threat to the industry and started EV Master Class along with other Industry CXOs and experts to bridge the gap between the supply and demand of nurtured and trained talent in EV Ecosystem.

In his previous role as Group Chief Operating Officer at Avaan India, an offshoot of GATI Logistics. He designed and implemented innovative business strategies, plans, set comprehensive goals for the performance and growth of the organization.

Rajeev right now heads the complete Sales, Business Development, Marketing and PR with ETO Motors,

India’s Leading electric vehicle company and has accomplished many interesting mile stones

• First to deploy passenger electric 3 wheelers that are run by tribal women pilots in Kevadia- India’s first EV Zone.
• First to introduce electric 4-wheeler in cargo operations – right now running in stealth mode
• Executed agreements with metro stations of Delhi, Noida, Nagpur and running the last mile passenger mobility operations through electric vehicles

As Head strategy and Electric Vehicles Business with GATI, he established the complete operations of EVs in IKEA as early as in 2018 and then replicated the same in companies such as Bigbasket, Amazon and

Flipkart and have built business models around the same. The first last mile delivery operations in India were started by him in 2018 in IKEA Operations.

He was part of the Global Leadership Program with Bosch and worked for 5 years including a stint in Germany at Bosch Head Quarter. He had the privilege of not only working with process-centric MNCs such as Bosch, Mahindra, TATA Motors and TVS Motors but also in dynamic start-ups such as Carworkz.com (Corporate Startup of Mahindra & Mahindra) & Toppr.com, where he delivered a 400% growth in a stint of 7 months and helped organization raise series C funding of 140Cr.

He is currently nurturing and running EV Cohorts in partnership with the Government of Telangana to nurture talent and entrepreneurs in the field of Electric Vehicles Industry.
