Last year, we celebrated the Global Sustainable Development Summit 2022 with 167+ speakers from 50+ countries. The primary objective of the summit was to unlock the potential of micro, small and medium enterprises for SDGs. The grand celebration was a turning point for our council. SDGs are not just global goals but local-to-global opportunities for entrepreneurs to work upon and gain competitive advantage and efficiency throughout the value chain.

What?

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are a series of 17 worldwide objectives announced by the United Nations in 2015 with the purpose of improving our planet by the year 2030.

To create a better world, the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) focus on issues including ending extreme poverty, reducing income disparity, and encouraging sustainable consumption and production. As a result of the SDGs, businesses have an unprecedented chance to accelerate social impact and make a lasting effect on our planet.

Why?

Beautiful landscapes and about 7.5 billion unique individuals make our planet one of the most beautiful in the world. This is the place we are so fortunate to call home. However, our world is becoming increasingly complicated and confronted by political and economic instability, the fast-expanding needs of the middle class, rising inequality, changing consumer tastes, shifting investment viewpoints, etc. In the economic world, politics, and our own lives in general, these are difficulties we face on a daily basis. Through our collective efforts, the SDGs hope to provide lasting progress to everyone. That means that in order to reach the 17 global goals, we must all contribute to the sustainable development of our world through business, politics, and personal endeavors. As a gift to ourselves, our loved ones, and future generations alike.

How?

Despite the fact that large-scale projects often have the greatest impact, we must never lose sight of the fact that it takes the combined efforts of many people to make a significant difference in the world.

This means that establishing your scope is essential for success since you have the responsibility to create a better world and the urgency of today. By 2030, we may have a more sustainable world by making a commitment to just one or two of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Rather than being a goal in and of itself, the Sustainable Development Goals are a means to an end. Get inspired, get creative, and figure out how you or your company can help make the world a better place by 2030 by reading about your favorite SDGs.
