Srinivas Garimella is the Managing Director of Vega Conveyors & Automation Pvt Ltd., a subsidiary of Daifuku Co Ltd, Japan.
Founded by Srinivas Garimella as a MSME more than 2 decades ago, Vega is a pioneer in Material Handling Automation and has achieved substantial scale over the years. It has more than 350 customers spread across India and parts of the globe and was acquired by Daifuku Japan, the world’s largest material handling automation company in April 2019.
Srinivas is often called upon to give guest lectures on entrepreneurship at universities and is a keynote speaker at various industry forums. Under his leadership, Vega was voted as the most promising regional enterprise by Microsoft in the year 2013 and was voted as one of the top 100 SMEs in India by the Govt of India for the year 2014.
Srinivas is presently the Chairman of Industrial Development Committee at FTCCI (Federation of Telangana Chambers of Commerce & Industry) ; a Director at Telangana Industrial Health Clinic Ltd., a Telangana Govt NBFC; and also the IMC Chairman of Govt ITI – Vikarabad.
