Dr. Chandran Vinoth Kumar

Dr. Vinoth is a doctorate and a post graduate in Hospital Management from Apollo Hospitals, Chennai. He is also a postgraduate in Business Management from Institute of Management Technology, Ghaziabad. He has acquired post graduate qualifications in Medical Law & Ethics (NLSIU), also in Materials Management, and Labour Laws with Administrative Laws. He is well trained in Health Technology Assessment (AIIMS), Lean and Six Sigma in Healthcare (IIHMR University) and implemented several projects. He is also trained in Comprehensive Disaster Management and Risk Management from National Institute of Disaster Management (NIDM), New Delhi. He is well experienced in Quality Management Systems that includes ISO, NABH, NABL, ACHSI and JCI.

He has a rich and unique blend of academic / research and industry experience, spanning more than two decades in healthcare institutions of international repute that includes Apollo Hospitals Group, Global Health City and KIMS Health.

He is a recipient of many awards and laurels from various organizations within the country and abroad. The prominent ones include: Six Sigma Healthcare Excellence Awards (2015, 2017 & 2022), Asia Healthcare Excellence Award (2016), Pride of India Award (2017), Healthcare Personality of the Year (2017) and World Health & Wellness Congress Award (2018).

He is a record holder of India Book of Records (IBR), Asia Book of Records (ABR), World Book of Records (UK) and Guinness World Records, the first healthcare supply chain management professional to achieve this feat. He is also the first healthcare management professional in India to secure a place in the prestigious World Book of Records (UK) and Guinness World Records. He is also the first healthcare supply chain management professional in India to be awarded the Level 3 (Highest) Badge – “Qimpro Certified Qualitist” of QIMPRO Foundation, conceptualized by Dr.J M Juran, Father of Quality.
