A well known face in the pharmaceutical and computer vision space, Dr Anupriya has been a key driver of Spookfish’s growth from scratch. Spookfish build AI solutions for the manufacturing industries to help them with 100% quality control and thereby sustainable production.
With a PhD in computer vision and machine learning and a keen eye for markets, Anupriya spends her days practicing the black art of balancing a technology driven business in her role as the Managing Director of the company. She has dealt with a diverse set of markets and customers, including pharmaceuticals, FMCG, currency coin manufacturers, paper and steel mills. Anupriya and Spookfish have a goal to help manufacturing companies improve their Quality control processes to ensure 100% of inspection through automated quality control inspection machines. Clients such as Sun Pharma, DRL, P&G, Dabur, Novartis, Jindal have been passionate about adapting the AI software and technology to their production processes in order to improve their quality control.
Previously, Anupriya completed her doctoral degree at the University of Bath (UK) in the field of Computer Vision and Machine Learning. Having offices across Bangalore India, Eindhoven Europe, Bristol UK and New York USA. Anupriya has a keen eye in bridging the gap between the use of high end technology and applied sciences to ensure automation in the manufacturing sectors.
She has been awarded several leadership awards including, being one of the Top 15 Women Transforming India 2019 organized by Niti Ayog and the United Nations, the Entrepreneur of the Year award 2022 in Karnataka and several other achievements in the healthcare and technology sectors.
