Basuti Bolo is a space scientist, multi-awards winning founder and CEO of GoToSpace, owner and Director of GoTo PTY L.T.D Company of Botswana. Bolo assumed a leadership role in expert meetings, mentoring, inspiring and motivating others regional and international such as the SADC, African Leadership Congress and the United Nations.
Bolo’s initiative aims at to empower women and girls, reduce gender inequality, promote women in entrepreneurship, leadership and use of technology for sustainability.
- Bolo has registered GoToSpace, a trust established to educate, mentor and empower ten thousand (10 000) beneficiaries on space science per year at national level and international level.
- To educate and transform communities on Space science technologies and applications using Information Communication Technologies (ICT) and social media communication tools.
- To educate, sensitize and raise awareness for communities to better understand the Space science for management of resources for sustainable development.
- To promote gender equality on STEM programs.
- To provide advisory support and services on the use of advanced technologies to communities for sustainable development.
- To educate, train and raise awareness to the communities in an environmentally user friendly way for sustainability.
- To work with Government and communities to develop strategies that can be used to drive Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
- To drive Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by sharing of space knowledge for Management, Education, Research, Innovation and Things (MERIT) to all.
- Bolo believes that the world is driven by technology and entrepreneurship that is needed by all.
