Sukirti Pokharel

I am a second year student of Meteorology and and a first year student of Economics at Tri Chandra Multiple Campus. I have been in the professional field for almost 3 years now. My previous job was that of a research assistant at a start up called Khetipati Organics, where I researched about the currwnt market for the product and approached dufferent people for a strategic partnership. Currently, I have been working as a Vollunteer /Volunteer Recruitment Officer/ Manager at Center for Environmental Education Nepal for the past two years now. In my time as vokunteer recruitment officer at CEEN, I managed and directed a group of content writers , social media manager , and other existing volunteer for the organization.

I have been promoting Sustainable Development Goals fot a long time now but I’ve been working professionally towards it for almost 3 years now with CEEN. At CEEN we have organized and managed various programs on sustainability like :

1.SDGs in Action ,a series of webinars where our volunteers and I myself have spoken.
2. Understanding SDGs , a talk series where we invited subject experts to cover different topic of SDGs
3. SDGs in Action through Project Based Learning where we teach school children of grade 5,6 and 7 so as inspire a sense of sustainability and produce climate leaders.
Aside from these I have been a speaker at a forum for social justice organized by Law and Policy Forum for Social Justice.
