Shardul Rao

After graduating from NIT Kurukshetra in Mechanical Engineering, Shri. Shardul pursued M.Tech. in Thermal Engineering from IIT Delhi. After completion of the M.Tech. degree, he joined Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India as a Scientist. Currently working in National Science and Technology Entrepreneurship Development Board NSTEDB, at Department of Science and Technology, Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India. Currently working on various programs under the umbrella initiative NIDHI – National Initiative for Developing and Harnessing Innovations, including the flagship program of NSTEDB for supporting Technology Business Incubators (TBIs) across the country, Shardul is included in supporting startups across the country throughout various domains for the overall and sustainable development of the country of India. He is also included in formulation of the various new programs which would focus on enhancing and supporting startups and TBIs all over the country. Being a young soul with a zest to empower the budding entrepreneurs and strengthen the startup ecosystem, Shardul is focused at pursuing policies that are efficient, competitive and resilient leading the way for our country towards ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’.

Being involved in policy formation for Science and Technology in India and funding support to startups across the country having breakthrough innovations, Shardul enables the innovators of the country to contribute their bit towards sustainable development of the world. Various supported startups have innovation related to Solar Energy, Wind Energy etc. which would lead us to reach our sustainable development goals in the earliest time possible.
