Pramod Kumar

I have done my Doctoral degree in Agricultural Economics from ICAR-Indian Agricultural Research Institute, New Delhi, India. My major field of specialization is Agricultural Finance, Farm Management and Production Economics, Agricultural Development and Policy. I have 24 years of research and extension and 21 years of teaching experience. I have written about 80 research papers which are published in reputed journals. I have published two books and two teaching manuals. I have participated in a number of conferences and workshops. I have guided 25 MSc and PhD students as major guide and more than 30 as Co-Guide.

I have completed 10 research projects in the area of International trade, agricultural finance, natural resource management and impact evaluation of agricultural projects.

I have completed 10 research projects in the area of sustainable development. I am currently undergoing a fellowship programme on Sustainable Rural Development being offered by AARDO. I have been guiding MSc and PhD students in the area of Sustainable Development. I research interest is in the area of Agricultural Development and Policy.
