Ginger Rockey-Johnson
With nearly two decades as a Six Sigma Black Belt, Ginger Rockey-Johnson has extensive corporate experience focused on resource management, training talent, change agent, and execution of processes and procedures. Ginger has traveled across the United States working with manufacturing, Fortune 100 companies, and various organizations & associations to empower their human capital to drive profitability.
As a CISR® Expert with SHERPA Institute, Ginger has applied her continual improvement skills to advocate for at-risk youth. She serves as a Guardian ad Litem in Tampa Bay, Florida as an advocate of neglected, abused, and abandoned children who have been removed from their homes and placed in the custody of the court system. With no family available to speak for them, the child’s fate falls into the hands of the courts. Ginger has shared her best practices throughout Florida and the United States, as well as educating about the pervasiveness of human trafficking.
Ginger founded Mama G’s Home for Teens to help youths who often end up homeless, runaways, human trafficking victims and substance abusers with criminal records. Teens in U.S. foster care “age out” of the system when they turn eighteen, with little support to become functioning adults. The Mama G Team works to help these invisible youth in our community who age out and end up homeless.
Driven to educate and help these youth have a voice, stand out, and find that remarkability inside themselves, Ginger is emphatic that no one should be left behind.
