Dr Hynd Bouhia

Dr. Hynd Bouhia has cumulated more than 20 years of professional experience in high-level leadership positions in strategy and finance. She was nominated by Forbes among the 100 most influential women and most influential Arab women in Business (2015), and honored as a member of the Johns Hopkins Society of Scholars (2018).

With a Harvard PhD in environmental engineering and sustainable development, an Engineering degree from Centrale Paris, Dr. Hynd started her career at the World Bank in Washington working on development projects and infrastructure. She then joined Morocco’s Prime Minister as an economic advisor where she worked on the elaboration of Morocco’s industrial strategies and the structuring of largescale investment projects in industry, energy and tourism. Dr. Hynd was appointed the Managing Director of the Casablanca Stock Exchange, and structured and managed several investment funds before launching the consulting firm Strategica specialized in economic intelligence and impact entrepreneurship.

Dr. Hynd is the author of two inspirational and women empowerment books Africa Girl, African Woman and the French book “Filles et Femmes de l’Afrique Moderne”. She is the founder of the BAL Academy to empower women from around the world by teaching them impact entrepreneurship and how to become an influential figure that creates great sustainable impact and inspires others through their success and leadership style.

Dr Hynd is now on a mission to empower a billion girls and women around the world to grow confident, resilient, tech-savvy and financially free, by using her BAL Method. So that every girl and every woman embrace her dream and assertively “Believe in It. Act on It. and Lead with It”
