Even since he started his professional career as a teacher of 4 year olds in Nepal back in 1997, it has been over 15 years journey of humanitarian and development work across Asia, Europe, Caribbean – and now in Africa. He has been fortunate to have worked with some of the best experts, institutions and local/global think tanks with focus on humanitarian action, partnership and collaboration, access to data and actionable information for impact, evidence based policy formulations, sustainable partnerships and impactful innovations for children, women and young people.

He is a proud son of Nepal, born and bred in remote Eastern Himalayas. Raised in the British Gorkhas soldier’s family, He went to over 13 different schools around the world (and still counting). He was awarded with the European Union fellowship for the Master of Science Degree in information Management. He serve as an external adviser to the consortium of global research institutions under the European Research Centre for Information Systems. He has written on different topics and published with Harvard University among others.

He is, by association, a design thinker and human centred design enthusiasts. He loves the concept of agile and lean methodology not only for technology but also for other humanitarian development processes. He believes in collaboration/partnership than singular ownership to achieve the 21st century Sustainable Development Goals.
