    Toluwanimi Oyesiku is a detail-oriented International Relations major, currently attending Covenant University, with one year of work experience. She is a public speaker, multi-tasker, problem solver, researcher, and aspiring diplomat, eager to learn more and acquire higher levels of knowledge so as to effectively proffer solutions to global challenges. She is a team player and leader with diverse levels of experience in leadership, having served in a number of leadership positions over the past five years. Currently, she holds the position of the General Secretary of the Covenant University Classical Choir and the Provost of the Covenant University Strategic Studies Students Association. She believes strongly in the power of small contributions making way for a massive difference and advocates for the United Nations Agenda 2030, specifically SDG 1, 4, and 13.

    Toluwanimi Oyesiku is an advocate for the United Nations Agenda 2030 and is passionate about SDG 1,4, & 13.

    • She has served as a volunteer with a nonprofit organization geared towards the empowerment of women thus contributing to SDG 5 – Gender Equality – which seeks to “achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls.”
    • She volunteered in an environmental sanitation and road cleaning exercise organized by the Covenant University Community Development Impact Initiative Committee (CU-CDIIC) in February 2020, thus contributing to SDG 3 – Good Health and Wellbeing.
    • She has also worked as an intern at the Welfare Office of Covenant University thus contributing to SDG 3 – Good Health and Wellbeing – which seeks to “ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages.” The Welfare Office of Covenant University is concerned with the overall health and well-being of all students at Covenant University.
    • She encourages individual contributions towards the fulfillment of Agenda 2030. She authored a LinkedIn article titled “Attainment of the SDGs: The Magic of a Positive Ripple Effect.”
    • Currently, she is undertaking a research project titled “Global Governance and Climate Change in the 21st Century: A Study of the United Nations Environment Programme.” This research project seeks to contribute to the global fight against climate change, thus attaining SDG 13 – Climate Action – which seeks to “take urgent action to combat climate change and its impacts.”
