As Co-founder and Chief Experience Officer at GlobalLinker, Summi stands in for SME users, ensuring their business growth is made simpler, more profitable and enjoyable through a simple yet rich experience.
Summi comes from a family of small business owners and is very passionate about SMEs, having first hand experienced the joys and challenges of being an SME. She has used her formal education in digitally-led design and content, along with her experiences of working with SMEs and Global Enterprises in India, ASEAN and the US, to build a deep global perspective in solving SME pain points.
In earlier assignments and roles, Summi has helped Global Banks & Financial Institutions with their digital experiences, including for Citibank in Asia & Europe; Jet Airways & ITC Hotels in India; AXA Equitable and E*TRADE in the US, amongst others. Earlier Summi worked in leading publications in India, writing for Hindustan Times and in the design function with the Hearst Group of Magazines, during her time with the India Today Group.
Summi has championed many causes, including for Women Entrepreneurs and demystifying and simplifying digital adoption by SMEs.
GlobalLinker is a unique SME networking portal that invites financial organisations & banks to offer co-branded versions of their platform to assist their SME customers in growing their businesses, and accordingly becoming an integral part of their ecosystems. In a short span, GlobalLinker has been launched in 3 countries, and the partners include 4 financial institutions, Government institutions, & significant trade bodies.
