Dr. Sahana Madan is a distinguished academician and leader in the field of management education, specializing in Human Resource Management. She currently serves as the Professor and Head of the MBA Department at Dayanand Sagar Academy of Technology and Management (DSATM), Bangalore. With over 20 years of experience in postgraduate teaching, she has been instrumental in bridging the gap between academia and the corporate world. Prior to joining DSATM, she held key positions at institutions like CMS Business School, Jain University, Alliance University, Nitte School of Management, and Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan-Marshall University (USA) MBA Programs. A Ph.D. holder from the University of Mysore, her doctoral research focused on Gender Inclusivity in Indian IT Industries, reflecting her deep commitment to diversity and inclusion.
Dr. Sahana has trained over 1,000 corporate professionals in communication skills, leadership, behavioral dynamics, and personality development. As a recognized Ph.D. guide, she has mentored 250+ MBA students on international research projects and collaborated with global universities. Her research contributions include over 35 publications in Scopus-indexed, ABDC, and UGC Care-listed journals, as well as presentations at 30+ international conferences, including IIMs, XLRI, and Symbiosis. Additionally, she has served as a reviewer for 50+ research papers in esteemed journals such as Christ University’s Management Journal and the Studies of Applied Economics (USA).
