Dr. Srimathy Kesan is a pioneering force in making space exploration accessible and economical for future generations. Through Space Kidz India, launched in 2011, she has designed and implemented programs that cultivate scientific thinking and innovation among young Indians. Her mission is to disrupt the traditional Indian education system by introducing “Space Education,” fostering future scientists and space enthusiasts.

As the President and Co-Founder of Space Rickshaw, Dr. Srimathy is building unmanned labs in space, creating an environment where scientists, entrepreneurs, and artists can collaborate to unlock the potential of space for humanity’s benefit. Her ultimate vision includes establishing a globally renowned Space University with a manufacturing port in India.

Dr. Srimathy is the only Indian to be honored with the Ambassador status at NASA, ESA, and GCTC – Moscow. She has taken children to these top space research centers for hands-on training in rocket building, launching techniques, and satellite making. She has also facilitated interactions between Indian students and esteemed astronauts and cosmonauts, including Salizan Sharipov (Director of Yuri Gagarin Space Centre, Moscow), Marsha Ivins (NASA), and Retd. Wing Commander Rakesh Sharma, India’s first cosmonaut.
