Claudia Segre

Mrs SEGRE holds a degree in Political Sciences with a major in International Economics from University in Turin. Italian is her mother tongue, and she is fluent in English, Spanish, and French. She has acquired over 30 years of experience in international markets, with particular emphasis on Emerging Markets. She has dedicated her career in several world-wide Top Italian banks, to examining and studying the global financial dynamics towards social inclusion for women and Youth. She was invited in 2010 at the 6th session of the Parliamentary Union of the OIC (Organization of the Islamic Conference) Member States in Kampala, Uganda.

She has co-founded ASSIOM FOREX, (firstly Vice President for ASSIOM and active member since 1993). She has been Secretary-General from 2009 to 2016. She has now been appointed as ASSIOM FOREX Director of Publications and Member of the Board of Directors and Presidency. Chairman of the Board of Education of ACI FX International until 2015, she is now Honorary Member of ACI International. She is author of articles on topics concerning Gender Equality, Sustainability, Emerging Markets. Often quoted in Italian financial newspapers and networks like Sky, CFN CNBC as an expert on international economic dynamics, gender equality and women’s rights.

Claudia Segre has also received several important awards in the sector: Best Political Format “Geopolitical Atlas” RaiNews24 in 1999, Best Dealer Hungarian Market – MTS and Member MTS New Europe Board in London in 2005, and 1000CV Excellence Bellisario Foundation in 2011. Carrier Award Cavanna ASSIOM FOREX in 2017. Top 100 Italian Successful Women in 2019.
She was also Member of Experts Advisory Board of the VI Finance Commission Chamber of Deputies in 2016-2017. Now is Board Member of FEduF and AssoFintech. Member of Scientifical Committee Terres des Hommes. She is also President of Global Thinking Foundation USA Inc.
