Amisha Vora

A Chartered Accountant by education and equity expert by profession, Amisha is one of the most sought-after opinion makers in the market. She started her career with JM Financial as an analyst and went on to become a key shareholder & Group Joint Managing Director with Prabhudas Lilladher(PL). With over 28 years of experience in the financial sector and involved with some of the major global institutions, Amisha has been determined in her opinions and honest in her views. Through impactful initiatives, she has grown the PL Institutional business manifold over the years apart from being recognized internationally as a team to reckon with. In addition to her roles on the Institutional side, she also spearheaded the formation of PL Advisory Services, a company that leveraged her contacts and resulted in helping corporates raise more than USD 1 Bn across 30 plus deals during 2005-08, and the NBFC Business. In 2007, she also played the major role in the launch of the Investment Banking business at PL through PL Capital Markets Pvt Ltd.

She took over the reins of the Group’s Retail broking business in 2012. Since then, she has strengthened PL’s presence in key markets apart from spearheading a complete change in how the retail business is being done, led by technology and the quality of advisory services which has resulted in a CAGR of 23.5% in the toplines, higher than market growth. She is credited with several firsts at PL including an innovative stock advisory product, InvestActive, leading process automation initiatives and pioneering algorithm based advisory in India. She aims at making PL the leading retail brand in the financial services industry and is aggressively pursuing this endeavor currently.

Amisha is a member of the CII Capital Markets Committee and has received several accolades in the past few years.
