Surya Narayan Saha is currently the Asia Pacific lead of insurance consulting at a large consulting firm headquartered in Massachusetts. His area of focus is Fintech, Insurtech and Blockchain. Prior to this, he was associated with companies like Aon, WNS, Thomson Reuters, Montcalm UK and Neo Group. He is the author of “Insurtech Disrupted” and “The Digital Choices” – a book focused on digital transformation – organizations journey through a digitally driven strategy which was launched by the co-founder of Mindtree – Mr. Ashok Soota in 2021. The prior book is focused on digital disruption and best practices in insurance. In addition to this, Surya was also awarded the Top 50 Global Thought Leaders and Influencers on InsurTech 2022 by Thinkers 360. To add to this, he is the founder of The Insurtech Story (an initiative started to demonstrate and debate the global insurtech advancements through podcasts and roadshows). In 2023, he was also the part of the judges panel at the OVHcloud Startup Program Showcase London, which is a global tech initiative powered by Empact Ventures in partnership with the OVHcloud Startup Program to facilitate collaboration and funding between tech start-ups and larger companies that focuses on AI / DeepTech / AR / VR with a scale-up credit of more than €100,000. Lastly, he is an ex-fellow of The Royal Society of Arts, London.

Academically, Surya is currently pursuing his PhD in Enterprise Blockchain from Alliance University, Bangalore and prior to this, he has completed his MSc in Business Excellence from the University of Warwick, United Kingdom specializing in process improvements and Six Sigma. He is also a Green Belt in Lean Six Sigma certified in the year 2012.
