Dionne Kerr-Malherbe is Honorary Director General (African Continent), Global Council for the Promotion of International Trade.Â
Dionne is the Founder and CEO of Siyakha Consulting, providing advisory services to both public and private sector clients on Transformation, Development, and Strategy. Since leaving the banking industry in 1998, she’s actively worked on inward investment, economic development, social enterprise research and activation, mine community development, and supporting businesses to apply world-class standards with local relevance to optimize their successful operation and impact in South Africa. She’s a thought leader and public speaker on social impact, diversity, people, sustainability, and shared value. Dionne has a strong portfolio of local and multinational, private and public sector clients, and has served on several executive committees. She’s an activist on issues of change and development, and personally involved in community development, job creation, disability support programs, and youth development. Dionne has served as a judge for several awards and was the Chairperson of the National Association of BEE Consultants and Vice Chairperson of the Association of BEE Professionals. She has served as a Director on the British Chamber of Business and is a working committee member of the Shared Value African Initiative. She has been an advisor to several international trade missions on investment in Africa and facilitated several industry collaborative agreements for development.
